March Marine Construction was founded in 2018 by James and Jennifer March with one goal: deliver honest, high-quality marine construction that Tampa Bay waterfront owners can count on.
Our Story
March Marine Construction was born from a simple decision: put decades of real experience to work for Tampa Bay waterfront owners.
James March started in this industry at 16 years old as a marine construction laborer right here in Hillsborough County. He learned the trade from the ground up, spending decades mastering every aspect of the work until he rose to Director of Commercial Construction.
Jennifer came from a completely different world; she spent her career as a school librarian. But when the opportunity came to build something of their own, she brought the same dedication and attention to detail that defined her work in education. She handles the business side making sure every project runs smoothly from start to finish.
Together, they founded March Marine Construction in 2018.

We hold all required State of Florida marine contractor licenses and carry full liability and workers' compensation insurance. James March serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Marine Contractors Association — an organization that sets the standards for our industry.
